A scrumptious sandwich with a satisfying vegetable crunch


  • 2-3 tablespoons spicy hummus
  • 1/5 lb deli sliced deli turkey
  • 1 bagel (onion bagel recommended)
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • fresh sprouts (optional)
  • cheese of your choice (optional)


Toast the bagel in two pieces in a toaster.
While bagel is toasting, slice 1/2 red bell pepper into long, 3/4 inch pieces.
When bagel pieces are nice and crispy remove them from the toaster and add sliced turkey.
Spread the spicy hummus on the turkey and top with sliced bell pepper slivers.
