Homemade Thousand Island Dressing

This is the real deal, old school. Spoon generously over a crisp wedge of iceberg lettuce. Top with blue cheese, fresh crisp bacon, and a little fresh diced red tomato (for those of you who are partial to the nasty red fruit) to knock the flavor out of the park and solidify the arteries.

Ingredients

  • 6 Hardboiled Eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups Mayonaisse
  • 1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 3/4 cup diced black olives
  • 1/2 cup diced sweet red pepper
  • 2 tbls white vinegar
  • 2 tbls Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 cup diced green onion
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • dash of ground cloves

Instructions

All diced ingredients should be about 1/8 inch dice. I find a sturdy wire egg slicer expedites matters with the eggs and black olives.
Mix together well the diced HB eggs,Mayo, Pickle Relish, vinegar, Worcestershire, and cloves.
Then add the black olives, red pepper, green onion, celery mix together well and refrigerate over night for best flavor.
