ShananiGREENS Smoothie

A delicious and healthy smoothie that will give you the energy to start your day! Also great if you feel like you might be getting sick: kicks the germs in the face!!


  • 1/2 an avocado
  • one banana (I like to use frozen)
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach
  • 1/2 cup chopped kale
  • 3-5 strawberries (I like to use frozen)
  • about 2 heaping Tbsp grated fresh ginger (add more if you like ginger a lot!)
  • orange juice to texture to your liking (about 3/4 cup)
  • (If not using any frozen ingredients, add a few ice cubes)
  • Optional: a few frozen pineapple chunks!


Put the spinach, kale, ginger, and some orange juice in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients, and a bit more orange juice. Blend. Add more orange juice as necessary.

Servings: 1
