A hit with the family. Lil Garlic, Cashews and steamed broccoli - goes great with anything!


  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh broccoli, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup chopped salted cashews


Steam Broccoli and in a sauce pan, melt butter and add rest (hold the cashews till the end). Bring sauce to a boil. Plate Broccoli and pour sauce over topped with cashews.

Servings: serves 4 - 5
