Greasy breakfast alternative to fruit.
- 2 slices white bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 stick of butter
Toast the bread at a medium heat. Cut out circles in the middle of the bread so the sides are all still connected. Butter the circle and set those circles aside for now. Place the holey pieces of toast into a frying pan greased in butter. Let them simmer for 2 minutes then crack an egg in the middle of each piece of holey bread. Cover frying pan for a nice even cook of the egg for 2 minutes, then uncover frying pan and place the two circles of bread in the same pan and fry until the toast is brown and the circles are crispy. Timing of when each item is removed varies for how crispy you would like the bread and how runny you want your eggs.
